Our story
Helping Sunshine Coast businesses make the most of their technology since 1999.
Barry McMenomy established 4net after relocating from Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast. The early years were built around the practical needs of local small businesses. While the business was taking shape, Barry also taught Networking and PC Support at TAFE, reinforcing a straightforward way of explaining technology without unnecessary jargon.
Tom McMenomy joined 4net in 2020. Since then, the business has continued its transition from break/fix support into structured managed services, Microsoft 365 administration and cybersecurity operations. The technology has changed dramatically; the commitment to long-term local relationships has not.

4net is best suited to established small and mid-sized organisations, generally from 10 to 200+ users. We support single-site and multi-site environments and can scale the support, Microsoft 365 management and cybersecurity approach as your organisation grows.
Do you provide both remote and onsite IT support?
Yes. 4net provides responsive remote support for issues that can be resolved quickly and onsite assistance when hands-on work, deployment or investigation is required. Service scope and response arrangements are agreed during onboarding.
Can 4net manage our Microsoft 365 environment?
Yes. Services include tenant administration, identity and user management, Exchange, endpoint management and related security and governance. The goal is to make Microsoft 365 more consistent, secure and manageable for your organisation.
